A Marriage Visitor visa is valid for 6 months, during which an applicant must legally get married in the UK. To apply for a spouse visa after that, an applicant must return to his country of residence, for example, to the Russian Federation.

How long can I stay in the UK on a Marriage Visitor visa ?
A Marriage Visitor visa is issued for a period of 6 months, during which an applicant must get married and then return to his country of residence. An application for a Spouse visa must be submitted from the country of residence, for example, from the Russian Federation.
Financial Requirements
The Home Office does not have any specific requirements for the amount of money required to apply for a Visitor Visa.
However, the amount must be realistic for a trip of 6 months, including the cost of the return ticket.
The entire amount must be deposited into a bank account, since it can be problematic to prove cash savings.
An applicant’s future husband can fully or partially sponsor the trip. In this case, it is necessary to provide documents confirming the source and amount of his income.

General Documents for a Marriage Visitor Visa Application
Please note that there is no standard package of documents for a Visitor visa.
A list of documents is created individually for each case.

2. An applicant’s foreign passport (must be valid until the expiry date of the visa and have at least 2 blank pages)
